Pour ma première exposition, j’ai le plaisir de vous accueillir à la galerie Betty dans le cadre du festival OFF d’Arles.
Lorsque j’ai entrepris ma formation de photographe, je m’étais fixé comme objectif de faire une exposition sans idée précise du lieu et du thème.
Lors d’une présentation de portfolio à l’atelier Alonso à Arles, j’ai eu la première surprise lorsque l’on m’a dit que mon travail pouvait faire l’objet d’une exposition. La mise en relation avec la Galerie Betty a donné naissance à ce projet.
À cette occasion, je présenterai deux facettes de mes travaux :
La série Béton qui est un travail sur la matière et qui va explorer la richesse de ce matériau à travers sa texture et ses formes. Une partie des images ont été réalisées sur le site le Corbusier à Firminy.
La série Couleurs cabanes qui vous emmènera voyager sur l’ile d’Oléron surnommée la lumineuse. Les anciennes cabanes d’ostréiculteurs aujourd’hui transformées en ateliers d’artistes offrent un tableau vivant. J’ai voulu saisir le côté brut de la peinture écaillée par le temps et la richesse des couleurs.
Ces travaux s’inscrivent dans une démarche plus vaste en direction de l’abstraction.

For my first exhibition, I am delighted to welcome you to the Betty Gallery as part of the Arles OFF Festival.
When I began my training as a photographer, I set myself the goal of holding an exhibition without any specific idea of the venue or theme.
During a portfolio review at the Alonso studio in Arles, I had my first surprise when I was told that my work could be the subject of an exhibition. The connection with the Betty Gallery gave rise to this project.
On this occasion, I will be presenting two facets of my work:
The ‘Béton’ series, which is a study of the material and explores the richness of concrete through its texture and forms. Some of the images were taken at the Le Corbusier site in Firminy.
The ‘Couleurs cabanes’ series, which will take you on a journey to the Île d’Oléron, nicknamed ‘the luminous island’. The old oyster farmers’ huts, now converted into artists’ studios, offer a living tableau. I wanted to capture the raw quality of the paint, flaking with age, and the richness of the colours.
These works form part of a broader move towards abstraction.
